COSTUME AND MAKE UP • colourful clothes in general • hot pants • long blonde hair/wig • iconic hair bow • strong, detailed, colourful and big makeup • abstract tears (drawn on with makeup) • sunglasses • bows • leather • sparkle • "skimpy"outfits • gloves • nail varnish • masks • different coloured hair pieces • fake eyelashes • hair extentions PROPS • Letters-old love letters, maybe teastained to look old. • photographs-old romantic photographs scattered on the floor of the house • record player-preferably an old looking one as it will tie in with our "past" theme. • bench LOCATION • a house-to film the main character looking over old photographs of when she was in a relationship. We want the house to be a normal everyday house, so that her audience can relate to the video. • dance studio- We want to use this to film the dance sequence in our music video; we already have an area in mind, our college dance studio. we have choosen this location as its easy to get to and also its modern looking as it has lots of mirrors in and feel it will have a very abstract effect on our video with the reflections of dancers and will keep in line with lady gaga's creative style. • photographic studio-we could use this location at college for solo lyrics being sang by the main character/singer as we found looking at other pop artists they use the effect of a studio and its plain coloured (black or white) background. • an outside location-forest/lane/road. we could use a forest to show her feeling lonely and alone and we feel that forests do give off this emontion. She could be running through and swirling around. We would love it to be raining so that her hair and makeup looks rundown so the emotion of sadness/being alone would come across even more. • a lane/road-"walking away"-we feel this location would be ideal to film the footsteps of the man walking away for the lyrics "in your brown eyes, you walked away" we would use a shot of the feet gradually walking further away. We could also film the past in this area of her and her partner walking hand in hand and this would link up the two locations.
